The Museum was set up for the purpose of promoting natural history collection and research. We take the promotion of “cultural diversity” and “biodiversity” as our mission and our goal is to exert the museum’s goal of knowledge dissemination to the fullest through innovation and hosting exhibitions and educational events.
Museum is the cradle of modern knowledge in order to provide the public with a better knowledge of the environment and their native land, the museum sponsors dozens of educational programs every year. The programs include “Family Museum”Section, natural exploration trips, hands-on exercise, field study, artistic creations and musicals. The participants are able to enjoy an educational and fun learning experience in a relaxed atmosphere and learn to value the cultural diversity and biodiversity of Taiwan. The following is a brief introduction to the programs.

| This program has been organized around a series of DIY educational materials designed in accordance with the learning development patterns of pre-school children. The activities take place in the foyer of the museum every weekend with on-site volunteers offering assistance to parents and children with their DIY educational materials. |
