| Mobile Information Post- The Biodiversity Series |
| This program focuses on the theme of “biodiversity”, specifically designed for schools and weekend visitors. The participants are guided in in-depth self-learning activities through games and explorations supplemented by teaching materials such as specimens, models and puppets. Teaching materials available at the moment include: “The diversity of creatures- Colors of Life”, “The Complexity of the Ecological System- The Close-knit Food Chains”, “How do animals exercise-chase, flap, run, jump and bump”, “Flying Animals- Fly, Fly, I can Fly”, “About Bees- I am a little bee”, and “About Beetles- The Armored Insects”. |

The Natural Explorer- “Discover Formosa”
The “Natural Explorer” program features a series of outdoor experience activities designed for participants of different age groups with topics from natural ecology, history and culture.Researchers from the museum lead the team of participants to explore specific outdoor areas, historical sites, communities and indigenous villages in order to conduct studies into and make observations of the ecology and geology of the local environment. |
