Contemporary museums in the 21st century emphasize the “bottom-up”, “outside-in” and “people oriented” management approach. Special attention is being paid to the needs of the community and audience and the importance of interactions. Community workers, a diverse range of ethnic groups and the audience are offered the opportunity to share the planning and management of the museum. The museum’s volunteers are comprised of experts from various academic fields and friends enthusiastic about contributing to society. With their expertise and experience, the museum hopes to expand its service levels and functions. The department will devote its efforts towards developing a new look for the museum, allowing people from different ethnic groups and social classes to share a cultural experience of “Bringing the Museum into Your Life & Bringing Life to the Museum”. To fulfill our contemporary educational purposes, we aim to provide a multi-cultural window and avenue for people to participate in social education to enhance their learning experiences and offer them self-learning opportunities
