The exhibition, Sons of the Sun – The Myths and Legends of the Paiwan People, is designed primarily for schoolchildren, and utilizes a variety of modern exhibition methods, including illustrations, audiobooks, and interactive media to communicate the myths of the Paiwan people. The content and experience were organized with subjects on morality and unselfish concern as leading principles of selection. The exhibition cleverly correlates the concepts of charity and generosity with the wisdom of Mother Nature, and faithfullyrecreates the mystique of the mythical context behind its stories.Over the centuries, while individual clans of the Paiwan community have continued to branch out across different settlements, the storied legends and tribal myths remain nearly untouched. So buckle up as we traverse back in time to study the history and myths of the Paiwan people – a host of interesting legends and tales await us!
